Fidget bracelet for Mum

One of the upsides to fidgets becoming more mainstream is that they're discovered by people who would otherwise never look for that kind of coping method for their anxiety, even though it's hugely beneficial, because they'd feel silly playing with toys in public. Anxiety runs in the family, and one of my Mum's favorite fidget toys is a marble sealed inside a plastic tube. She loves to pinch it from side to side to calm her nerves, but frequently loses them or leaves them in a desk drawer during a stressful meeting. Why not make one she can have with her all the time?

This bracelet is made with the leftover yarn from the hat I knit her for Christmas. It's a very easy knit- just a tube on double ended needles, sewn together with a Kitchener stitch after inserting a marble. It's also nice that she has something to wear to remember me by when it's a bit too warm to wear a knitted hat- which, in Texas, is almost the entire year.

If you'd like to make your own bracelet, you can find the pattern here.
