Manifesto

create! create! create!

be in the physical world, make things with your hands. forsake a digital existence. use the internet to show and share what you can do and how to do it and teach others how to do it. don't let consumerist social media ruin your life and brainwash you into creating marketable advertiser-friendly CONTENT. just do and make and share.

the earth is our home!

reject the culture of buying and throwing away to make room for buying more. embrace slow fashion and DIY, environmentally friendly choices within reason for your budget and lifestyle, spending free time making things you love with and for people you love. the 1% does not care about or respect you or our planet. repair the hell out of anything you can, try and learn how to repair the things you can't, and repurpose whatever is left however possible.

spend your money on things that enable self sufficiency!

buying a fish will feed you for a day but buying a fishing rod will feed you for a lifetime. garden if you're able to and savor the literal fruits of your labor. learn how to fix your computer instead of getting rid of it and buying a new one. better yet, learn what to look for in your purchases that makes them last a long time. laptops from a decade ago are still easily usable today with a bit of maintenence, while new computers die completely within two years. slim "stylish" technology sacrifices cooling and durability.

it's morally correct to "steal" "intellectual property" from large corporations!

hack your 3ds and switch because Nintendo is a shit company and doesn't need more of your money. you have a computer in your pocket- learn how to make it function like one instead of being an intentionally mutilated piece of hardware sold to you for many times more than the componants are worth. jailbreak and exploit every device you own and learn how to disable spyware built into fucking everything these days. learn how to torrent safely and become a member of private trackers. take movies, ebooks, audiobooks, software, anything and everything you want. the people that made it have already been underpaid by the corporations they made it for.

refuse to be a product!

block every ad on site! learn how to set up adblockers that aren't spyware and use a VPN to keep your internet service provider from keeping tabs on what youre up to! stop using social media that tracks every movement you make! learn about basic infosec and clean up mistakes youve already made to the best of your ability!
